Department of General Surgery had organized a CME on Surgical Gastroentrology on Wednesday, 18 th January 2023 from 11 am - 1 p.m. Programme was inaugurated by watering the plant by the Guest Speakers and Dr. G.N. Prabhakara, professor and HOD, Department of General Surgery Dr. Venkatesh NS, Medical Superintendent of Siddhartha Medical College and Hospital, Dr. Manjunath, Vice Principal, were present on the occasion.
Eminent speakers were Dr. Srikanth, Paediatric Gastroenterologist from Manipal Hospitals, Bangalore spoke on “Interesting case scenarios in paediatric Gastroenterology and scope and Relevance of Paediatric Gastroentrology”. Dr. Hemanth Kumar, Surgical Gastroenterologist from Manipal Hospitals, Bangalore spoke on “Role of Robotics in GI and HPB surgery”.
HOD’s and Faculty from all the Departments of SSMC had participated and as many as 60 Post graduate students from various departments were benefited from this program.
