Medical camp in association with department of health and family welfare. Tiptur. 30/12/2022.

Malnutrition Health Camp under RBSK program was conducted on 30/12/2022 in coordination with District Health and Family welfare office, Tumkur at General Hospital, Tiptur. Under the guidance of nodal officer Dr. Bharathnag N, Assistant Professor, Department of Community Medicine, SSMC, Tumkur, Consultants and Postgraduates from Departments of Community Medicine, Pediatrics and Obstetrics and Gynecology were deputed for the camp. Professors along with Postgraduates examined the children assembled at the venue. A total of 30 children were clinically examined and assessed by anthropometry, out of which 12 had severe acute malnutrition and 14 had moderate acute malnutrition. Total of 22 ANC cases were screened for anemia, high risk statuses. Antenatal cases with high risk were counseled for upkeep of their health and monitoring signs.
