MEDICAL CAMP IN ASSOCIATION WITH DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE. TIPTUR

Malnutrition Health Camp under RBSK program was held on 10/06/2022 in TIPTUR Taluk Hospital under the guidance of nodal officer Dr. Bharathnag N, Assistant Professor of Department of Community Medicine. Consultants and PGs from Department of Pediatrics and Department of Obestetrics and Gynecology were deputed for the camp. Dr. Bhavya G, Assistant Professor along with Postgraduates assessed the children. Total of 32 children were assessed of which three had Severe Acute malnutrition and Seven had Moderate Acute Malnutrition and one of the children were referred to Nutritional Rehabilitation Centre (NRC), Tumkur. Five antenatal mothers were assessed out of which one was referred to higher centre.
