MEDICAL CAMP IN ASSOCIATION WITH DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE. KORATEGERE

Malnutrition Health Camp under RBSK program was held on 13/05/2022 in Korategere Taluk Hospital under the guidance of nodal officer Dr. Bharathnag N, Assistant Professor of Department of Community Medicine. Consultants and PGs from Department of Pediatrics and Department of Obestetrics and Gynecology were deputed for the camp. Dr. Tara shree, Assistant Professor along with Postgraduates assessed the children. Total of 22 children were assessed of which one had Severe Acute malnutrition and five had Moderate Acute Malnutrition and one of the children were referred to Nutritional Rehabilitation Centre (NRC), Tumkur. Six antenatal mothers were assessed out of which one was referred to higher centre.
